If you’d prefer a more private party, we offer a room hire separated from the main bar by sliding doors. With a capacity of 35 seated and 60 standing, we can adapt this flexible, chic and cosy space according to your party needs. Whether you are after stand up drinks accompanied by a buffet or if sit-down dining for a large party is more your style simply let us know what you need and we will do our best to make it happen.

We held our works meeting in this central location for the East wide team. It was perfect for trains and connecting park and ride buses. If you are happy to pay parking at a premium there is some directly by the venue. We had a special deal of £15 per person for a private meeting room, tea and coffee, and a selected main course. What an absolute bargain. The staff were really helpful and attentive, the very delightful sandwich/light bite based lunches were diverse and really tasty. When we told one of the waitresses it was our works post Christmas meeting we were offered a glass of prosecco or zero alternative. What a lovely touch. It is a friendly, quirky venue and clearly staff are motivated and happy look after customers. We will be returning for further meetings.

Called in at the station tavern for food and drinks as we were between stops, what an absolute gem this pub is!! We found the pub to be clean and decor to a high standard. We had the pleasure of having Kay as our waitress, on entering we were shown to our table, this lady is a credit to your company, very friendly and welcoming!! Nothing was too much trouble. Our drinks and food order was promptly taken. The food that we received was to a very good standard and enjoyed very much. We both look forward to returning when passing through Cambridge. Keep up the great work!!

I booked this for 5 of us from work to have Christmas drinks and something to eat. I hadn't been before, but chose it because several colleagues were coming from further afield and the proximity to the train station was a big plus. The place was buzzing with a great atmosphere, the staff were attentive and we didn't have to go to the bar once for drinks as they always seemed to appear at the right time to take an order. The food we pre-ordered (2 sharing platters) was delicious and plentiful and was delivered to the table at the time we ordered it for. We loved the decor, it was warm and welcoming on a cold December night. All-in-all a great success and we will definitely come again!
